Autumn weekends in Southern California were created for road trips and last Sunday was no exception.
Visiting the Avila Valley on the central coast we were pleasantly surprised to discover the ultimate pumpkin patch at the Avila Valley Barn and u-pick farm. Rows of beautiful golden sunflowers and a giant pumpkin patch with a hay bale maze, pony rides and selection of the most unusual decorative pumpkins to delight children of all ages! it was a heaven of harvest inspiration.
Just down the road is Sycamore Mineral Hot Springs Resort with a spa and private hot tubs on a secluded hillside forest. Really a we found a slice of autumn weekend seduction to restore natural vitality and well being of our souls.
